Fiesta Latina

Fiesta Latina is our newer 2 - 4 piece Latin / salsa party production. The standard lineups are vocals + piano for the 2-piece, + cajon for the 3-piece, + trumpet for the 4-piece. The musical direction is vocal-led, encouraging a broad flexibility in the range of repertoire covered which can be anything from salsa and merengue to Bossa Nova to jazz and pop standards performed in a Latin style.
Performance time typically anything up to 135 minutes (2.25 hours)
Divided into sets (2 x 65 / 3 x 45 / 4 x 35)
Location: London

Requirements:

• Ability to sing in English, Spanish and / or Portuguese
• Genuine love of salsa, Bossa Nova and other styles of Latin American music
• Charismatic stage presence
• Confident at engaging with the audience, good chemistry with the band and with the microphone
• Ability to improvise essential

Membership
Fiesta Latina is Red & Black Music's only franchised production, which means that it operates 3 lineups in London, Manchester and Bristol. The successful candidate will receive 1st offers for engagements at the minimum event status Confirmed, for events quoted from London / SW1A.

Fiesta Latina is affiliated with its larger counterpart Diáspora. This means that the successful vocalist participates as a backing vocalist in forthcoming recordings with Diáspora. The Fiesta Latina vocalist receives 3rd offers for vocals in Diáspora. Likewise, the Fiesta Latina vocalist position can be deputised to the vocalists of Diáspora.

Offers
We quote for the following minimum* performance fees:

• From £105 per performer (4-piece)
• From £110 per performer (3-piece)
• From £115 per performer (2-piece)

*Please note performance fees increase accordingly:
+£5.00 per decrease in lineup (4-piece down)
+£10.00 per increase in zone (distance from London / SW1A)
+10% per decrease in notice (Early Bird, Advance, Full, Late)
Rates may vary for nominal deal codes (where the deal is stipulated by the promoter).
