Now in its 41st year and organised by Event Lambeth, the show has all the attractions of a traditional country fair. Expect horticultural shows, sheep dog & owl displays, home grown vegetable and flower competitions, numerous craft & food stalls and our very own on site farm. All this is on offer and more with a distinctively urban south London vibe.
Music also plays a big part of the Country Show and this year is no exception, featuring an eclectic mix of dub, afro-beat, ska and soul. Sunday welcomes back roots reggae day to the Main Stage and our Village Green stage will showcase an eclectic mix of local talent playing acoustic folk, soul and pop, along with steel orchestras and samba bands. Each year the show hosts a theme. Following on from our 40th Anniversary theme in 2014, this year we will be celebrating the ‘Festival of Love 2015‘ in line with the Southbank Centre’s summer festival of the same name. Look out for our giant ‘Love’ installation on site, as well as loved themed activities and competitions. Entry is to remain free in 2015 and visitors can make donations on entry or at designated donation points across the site. A-Z Festival Guides will be available for a suggested donation of £1 and will be the only place to find out full line-up and timings, as well as a handy map of the event.
