Tea & Jam is a night where professional musicians are exploring and experimenting with new sounds. Classic, laid back styles branching jazz with international music voices - come along and enjoy new music in an intimate setting.
Hosted by: Amy's Cabaret featuring special guests... A mixture of vintage soul and compelling storytelling, Amy's Cabaret blends burlesque and live music to create an evening of entertainment at Vauxhall Tea House. From hand picked tales of Wanda Jackson to classic Nina Simone and heartbreaking Rufus Wainwrights to popular songs performed with a twist - this collection of songs will uplift and move. Special guests join this chanteuse on stage to rustle up some Christmas spirit and some burlesque little helpers might even join the party too. Come and gather around the Christmas Tree, have a mulled wine and Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas for this "one night only" event. And if you've got a wee song up your sleeve, this is the place to try it out or even show it off. Jam to follow open to vocalists + instrumentalists.
