DIÁSPORA is an 11-piece Latin band based in Manchester, made up of young gringos dedicated to bringing you the most sizzling sounds from Latin America and the Caribbean. It features male and female singers, a 4-piece horn section (alto sax, tenor sax, trombone and trumpet) and a burning hot rhythm section complete with 3 percussionists; bringing you THE BEST of Salsa, Afro-Cuban Jazz and Latin Fusion. The 11-piece lineup lends itself to a big band sound, without losing the dynamism and spark of a small group; and combines sensuous vocals, sophisticated horn lines and explosive percussion solos. With their vision to unite the rhythms of the Americas, DIÁSPORA is set to be one of the most exciting new projects on the UK Latin scene today.
